Four men facing charges after armed robbery at New Brunswick pharmacy

SACKVILLE, N.B. – RCMP in New Brunswick say four men are facing charges after an armed robbery at a pharmacy on Thursday afternoon.

The Mounties say two men entered a pharmacy on Main Street in Sackville claiming to be armed with a syringe and demanded narcotics, but fled when the pharmacist refused.

Police say one man was arrested a few blocks away.

They say three other men were arrested a short time later in a vehicle.

The men, ranging in age from 23 to 57, are facing robbery charges.

Police say three of the men are from Prince Edward Island and the fourth is from British Columbia.
