Freed Albertan Lindhout offers thanks in first statement since release

"Home at last!" With those words, freed Sylvan Lake journalist Amanda Lindhout offered her first comments since returning to Alberta. Along with Australian photojournalist Nigel Brennan, she was held captive in Somalia for 15 months.
