Just hours after the Winnipeg Jets recalled Michael Hutchinson from the Manitoba Moose, the team had to sign a different goalie because of flight delays.

A tweet from the team said Hutchinson’s flight to New York City was delayed. He was attempting to rejoin the Jets ahead of their game against the New Jersey Devils Thursday evening.

The team has signed Zane Kalemba to a professional tryout to back up Connor Hellebuyck.

Kalemba is currently playing with the Manchester Storm in the Elite Ice Hockey League.
