RCMP are hoping the public can help track down a suspect in a coffee shop robbery in Kelowna.
The robbery occurred at Mom’s Grind Coffee in the Spall Plaza just after 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Police said the employee was closing up shop alone when the robbery happened.
The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The employee ran to a nearby business and called 9-1-1.

“Although weapons were not used in the crime, police have been told that the suspect utilized physical force to restrict the victim’s movements,” RCMP Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey said. “The victim who appeared uninjured was assessed at the scene by emergency paramedics.”
A police dog was used to try to track down the suspect but he managed to escape.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male and about six feet tall. He was last seen wearing dark clothing, with baggy pants, a hood and a black wool mask.
