Father helping to raise money for the Down Syndrome Research Foundation with a Sky Walk

At six o-clock Saturday morning a small group of people gathered in Pitt Meadows to raise awareness for Down syndrome. Howie English is walking to help improve the lives of those living with Down syndrome.

“My daughter’s like anybody else and I want everybody in the world to know how lucky I am with all my three girls, and my youngest daughter may have special needs but she’s no different than you or me.”

Howie is trekking 34 kilometers across the Lower Mainland from Pitt Meadows to Burnaby and he’s doing it to help the 4,000 people who live with Down syndrome in the province.
