Officers were set up at the corner of Idylwyld and 38th Street where they used a variety of tactics to catch drivers on their cellphones.

The blitz was part of SGI’s traffic safety spotlight focusing on distracted driving, which is the second-leading cause of fatal collisions on Saskatchewan roads and the number one overall cause of collisions.
