A 21-year old man from Chilliwack has been identified as the suspect in an alleged robbery of a local pot shop.
The incident took place on Nov.4, 2017 at Weeds Glass and Gifts on Victoria Drive. Surveillance footage released on March 7 by the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) showed a male entering the store and engaging in a short conversation with a female employee.
He is then seen in the video jumping onto the shop’s counter and engaging in a physical conflict with the employee as he tries to grab a number of jars from a set of shelves.
The suspect can then be seen jumping back over the counter with his arms full of product, before allegedly assaulting another staff member on his way out the door.
