Vancouver Canucks mauled by Nashville Predators 4-3 in OT

File. The Canucks lost 4-3 in OT on Friday. NHL

The Vancouver Canucks held on through regulation, but ultimately fell to the Nashville Predators 4-3 in overtime Friday night.

Nashville’s Mike Fisher, Kevin Fiala, Ryan Ellis and Calle Jarnkrok all scored goals for the Predators, with Jarnkrok’s being the sudden-death winner.

Vancouver saw goals from Bo Horvat, Brandon Sutter, and Daniel Sedin.

It wasn’t a night without milestones, though, with an assist from Alex Edler making him the all-time franchise points-leader for a defenceman.

Vancouver will next face off against the New York Islanders on Monday, March 5.
