An 18-year-old from Altona faces multiple charges after being arrested in northwestern Ontario Wednesday.
Ontario Provincial Police were called to a gas station on Highway 102 at around 10:40 p.m. for a report of fuel theft.
Officers located the suspect vehicle on Highway 17, northwest of Thunder Bay near Raith, Ont.

After checking the plate, the OPP discovered the car had been stolen from Manitoba. They pulled the driver over and arrested the driver and a passenger without incident.

The driver was handed over to Thunder Bay police on the matter of the stolen gas.
The passenger, Sheldon Baker of Altona, Man. was arrested and held in custody. He has been charged with breach of probation and possession of stolen property over $5,000.
