Vernon North Okanagan RCMP are looking for a man who reportedly offered two children in Armstrong a ride home on Wednesday afternoon.
Police responded when two middle school students said a man asked them if they wanted a ride home.
The children were walking along Otter Lake Road, near the MacDonald Road intersection when an older white man with grey hair and sunglasses pulled up in an older model white pickup truck.
RCMP believe the truck was a Chevrolet Silverado with the code Z-71 on the rear passenger panel and perhaps branded lettering on the rear window reading “Chevrolet”.
Police conducted patrols of the area but did not locate the vehicle or a suspect.
