Thieves make off with cash from Hague, Sask. business

Rosthern RCMP are seeking leads in a theft that happened in Hague, Sask.

Police said two men entered a business just off Highway 11 at around 2 p.m. on Feb. 23.

Investigators said while one man distracted staff, the other entered an office and took an undisclosed amount of money.

They then took off in what is believed to be a silver-coloured SUV.

RCMP has released photos of the suspects in the Hague theft.

They are described as being in their 50s or 60s with stocky builds.

Police say both men fit the descriptions of the suspects in several thefts in Saskatchewan and Alberta, including one in Outlook, Sask., in August 2017.

In that theft, two men entered the AG Foods Store. One then entered the manager’s office and stole $5000 while the other kept watch.
