Air Canada systems back in order after outages at check in, call centres

Air Canada systems have been restored after an outage caused long lines and wait times for fliers Tuesday.

The airline confirmed in multiple tweets Tuesday afternoon that it was dealing with system issues.

The company addressed problems with check in at the airport, with mobile and web check in as well as call centres.

According do Outage Report Canada, a website tracking online outages, Air Canada systems issues reports first began popping up Tuesday morning.

Complaints flooded social media from users not only trying to check in, but also trying to book flights.

There was no information on what caused the outage.
