Fire officials say hot embers from a woodstove likely caused a fire inside a detached garage in Guelph on Sunday evening.
The Guelph Fire Department said crews responded to the call at 5 p.m. on Forest Street near Edinburgh Road and found the garage filled with smoke.
Officials said the fire was quickly brought under control and extinguished.

There was smoke and heat damage inside the structure, but damage estimates were not provided.
