Extreme cold warnings ended in Saskatchewan

An extreme cold warning that was in place for parts of Saskatchewan has been lifted. SkyTracker Weather

It was a bitterly cold morning across parts of Saskatchewan, with extreme cold warnings in place for some central and northern regions.

Environment Canada reported very cold wind chills in the warned areas Wednesday morning.

Temperatures were in the -35 C range and with wind speeds between 5 and 15 km/h, wind chills were in the -40 to -45 range.

  • Melfort – Tisdale – Nipawin – Carrot River
  • Southend – Brabant Lake – Kinoosao
  • Wollaston Lake – Collins Bay
