TORONTO – Two people have been rushed to hospital after their car rolled over in the southbound lanes of Highway 404.
The rollover happened just after 1 p.m. on Friday.
All southbound lanes between Major Mackenzie Road and 16th Avenue are now closed.
Shortly after the accident, the Ontario Provincial Police Twitter account released a photo showing a rolled over silver van missing one of the rear tires.
Police say the accident involved the silver van and a dump truck, but it’s currently unclear exactly how the accident happened.
Both people suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
