The water supply in Wetaskiwin has stabilized following an Alberta Emergency Alert Friday morning.
Wetaskiwin residents were warned of a water shortage in the community Friday morning due to a water main break on 49 Street.
An Alberta Emergency Alert was issued at around 10:15 a.m. but dropped by 11:30 a.m.
Crews were called in to repair the break and late Friday morning the city said the water situation had stabilized.
More information is to be provided on the city’s website and social media channels when it becomes available, the city said.
Wetaskiwin is located about 70 kilometres south of Edmonton.
