Saskatchewan Rush remain undefeated, down Colorado Mammoth 17-12

Curtis Knight, Robert Church and Matthew Dinsdale all had hat tricks to lead the Saskatchewan Rush past the Colorado Mammoth 17-12 on Saturday night in National Lacrosse League action.

Ben McIntosh, Adrian Sorichetti and Mike Messenger all struck twice for the Rush (4-0). Mark Matthews and Ryan Keenan also scored.

Eli McLaughlin scored four goals and Jeremy Noble had a hat trick for Colorado (3-1). Joey Cupido, Jacob Ruest, Ryan Lee, Taylor Stuart and Ryan Benesch supplied the rest of the offence.

Evan Kirk stopped 33 shots for the win while Dillon Ward kicked out 35-of-50 shots in defeat. Steve Fryer came on in relief during the fourth quarter for the Mammoth and allow one goal on three shots.

Saskatchewan was 3 for 4 on the power play and Colorado converted three times on five attempts.

The Rush are back in action on Friday when they host the Buffalo Bandits (2-3).
