WINNIPEG – Weston Dressler will play at least another season with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers after signing a new one-year contract with the team.
The American wide receiver was set to become a free agent in February. He joined the Bombers in 2016 shortly after being released by the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Dressler missed seven games this past year due to two separate injuries. He finished the season with 51 receptions for 691 yards and three touchdowns.
In 148 games over 10 CFL seasons, Dressler has registered 9,491 receiving yards and 56 touchdowns off 670 catches. He has been named a CFL All-Star twice in his career and took home the league’s Most Outstanding Rookie award in 2008. Dressler won a Grey Cup as a member of the Roughriders in 2013.
The Bombers have signed seven of their 23 pending free agents this off-season.
