A Vancouver woman has been chosen as one of YouTube’s next ‘How-to Gurus’.
Katie Stiles is one of only 15 people chosen, and is the only winner in Canada.
Stiles runs a channel called ‘Before and After TV’, and launched the channel in 2008 when YouTube was still a place for music and cat videos.

It has grown a lot since then, and although Stiles is also a videographer, she now commits most of her time to her channel.
Stiles won a Google+ workshop series from industry experts and YouTube staff about developing her channel, and $4,000 worth of production equipment, and promotion on YouTube.
She spoke to Global BC about her channel and what is means to her to have won.
