Man in life-threatening condition after fight at Calgary Tim Hortons/Wendy’s restaurant

Several people have been taken into custody and one man is in hospital after a fight broke out Tuesday afternoon in the community of Somerset.

Calgary police say the fight between two groups started at about 3:30 p.m. at the restaurant located in the 300 block of Shawville Boulevard.

One man was taken to the Foothills hospital in life-threatening condition, EMS said.

EMS said no one else at the scene was assessed or taken to hospital.

Police said everyone involved in the fight has been taken into custody. There was no indications that weapons were used.
