Two days after he was last seen in northeast Edmonton, police said a 45-year-old man was found safe and unharmed on Friday morning.

On Thursday night, police issued a plea for help from the public as they tried to find Benjamin Wornardt, who was last seen in the area of Brintnell Boulevard at about 2 p.m. on Wednesday.

“He was not believed to be in a vehicle and reportedly left the area on foot,” police said in a news release, adding his disappearance was considered to be out of character and that he was not dressed for winter weather conditions.
