Two New Brunswick men face charges after drugs, firearms seized

New Brunswick RCMP have charged two men with drug-related offences after they searched a residence on Route 465 in Fords Mills, N.B.

RCMP carried out the raid on Thursday where a search of the home resulted in the seizure of various amounts of what police believe to be cocaine, crack cocaine, hydromorphone, methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

The Mounties also seized five long guns and arrested three people who were at the scene.

Wayne Hudson, 65, from Fords Mills, N.B., and Mark Patriquin, 28, from Bluewater, Ont., appeared in Moncton Provincial Court later that day where both were charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

Both men have been remanded in custody and are scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on Oct. 30.
