RCMP in Nova Scotia have charged four men with uttering threats and harassment and seized the Gatekeepers Outlaw motorcycle gang paraphernalia they were wearing.
According to police, RCMP and the Halifax Regional Police K-9 unit responded to a disturbance at a home on Highway 224 in Upper Musquodoboit on the evening of Oct. 9.

Police say three men on motorcycles matching the suspects’ descriptions were arrested without incident. At the time, they were wearing clothes and paraphernalia associated with the Gatekeepers motorcycle club, which was seized as part of the investigation.
A fourth man was arrested the next day.

“The presence of outlaw motorcycle gang paraphernalia and clothing during the commission of an offence is used as a weapon of intimidation and reinforces the connection between outlaw motorcycle gangs and criminality,” said RCMP Insp. Jason Popik in a news release.
“Based on the investigation to date, the individuals were wearing their gang colours as a means to send a message and inspire fear in the victims which is why we seized them.”
A 37-year-old man from Upper Musquodoboit, a 38-year-old man from Eastern Passage, a 43-year-old man from Dartmouth and a 46-year-old man from Cow Bay have all been charged with uttering threats and criminal harassment. They were released on conditions and will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on Nov. 20.
