Westbound traffic on Highway 16 was reduced to a single lane after a semi hit traffic lights at the intersection of Highway 16 and Boychuk Drive on Sunday.
Saskatoon police said the northbound semi-trailer on Boychuk damaged a light standard while attempting to make a westbound turn onto the highway.

Driver were asked to avoid the area while City of Saskatoon crews made repairs.
Restrictions in the area have since been lifted.
