MLA Keith Bain has been released from hospital and is expected to make a full recovery, according to the Nova Scotia PC Party.
Bain was hospitalized in Halifax on Oct. 10 following a medical emergency and was moved to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital over the weekend.

In a statement on Facebook, the Victoria-The Lakes MLA thanked various people, including his colleagues, medical staff and family.
“To my Caucus colleagues who took such great care of me last Tuesday, I will be forever indebted. You guys are the best and saved my life,” he wrote.
“To the wonderful doctors, nurses, paramedics and all hospital staff both in Halifax and Sydney…your professionalism was only outdone by your kindness.”
The PC party says Bain’s constituency office remains open.
