The latest Black Panther movie trailer — exciting and action-packed — revved up the internet on a Monday morning.
Fans and newbies alike seemed overjoyed at the new footage, praising the cast, the costume design and the comic-book references.

While many plot intricacies haven’t been revealed yet, the general story follows the tried-and-true superhero arc: Superhero T’Challa (also known as Black Panther, played by Chadwick Boseman) returns home to Wakanda after his father dies to take the throne as king.
Of course, as is usually the case, things don’t go as smoothly as he planned.
Co-starring Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Bassett and Forest Whitaker (among many, many others), the movie has some serious cred.

Twitter lit up after the Black Panther trailer release; notable folks like Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda and Black Panther star Bassett couldn’t contain their excitement.
