Certain Fish Tempura sticks recalled because of possible undeclared egg

OTTAWA – Some Fish Tempura Sticks are being recalled because they may contain egg that isn`t declared on the label.

The affected product was sold frozen in 365 gram packages with expiry dates of Sept. 12, 2013 and Sept. 13, 2013 (UPC 7 77576 00410 6).

The product was sold in Alberta and British Columbia and has reportedly been linked to one allergic reaction.

The manufacturer, Taiwan Food Products Ltd., of Surrey, B.C, is voluntarily recalling the affected product and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency is monitoring the recall.
