Surrey, B.C. Mounties probe shots fired call

Surrey RCMP officers on scene in Newton Thursday night. Curtis Kreklau

An investigation continues Friday morning in the 6100-block of 150th Street in Surrey, after Mounties say they responded to a shots fired call Thursday night.

Officers received calls about the incident at around 10:05 p.m.

Based on witness accounts, officials say two vehicles, a white pick-up truck, and a dark-coloured sedan, had stopped in the area.

As the occupants of both vehicles were speaking to each other, a dark-coloured SUV pulled up and shot at the two vehicles.

The dark-coloured SUV was last seen heading southbound along 150th St.

Police say no victims have been located, and that officers will be in the area canvassing and speaking with witnesses to try and piece together what happened.
