Saskatoon police have arrested three men after a street robbery in the Caswell Hill neighbourhood.

The theft happened shortly before 1 a.m. CT on Sunday.

A 25-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman said they were in an alley when they were held up by three men in the 700-block of 29th Street West.

One of three men was armed with a handgun and a knife. No injuries were reported.

The two victims were able to provide police with descriptions of the suspects and the truck they were travelling in.

Officers spotted the vehicle 20 minutes later and stopped it near Archibald Arena. Three men, 20, 26 and 34, were taken into custody.

Police said they found a firearm, knives as well as personal property belonging to the victims.

Charges are pending as the investigation continues.
