Iain Alexander Tod, 25, of Winnipeg faces multiple charges as a result of an international child pornography investigation.
Winnipeg Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit received a tip from the New Zealand Digital Child Exploitation Team regarding internet activity by a man using a Winnipeg IP address. Images of child sexual abuse had been shared in an online chat room from Sept. 25-26.

Police searched an East Elmwood home Thursday Oct. 5 and later arrested Tod from a home in the Central Burrows area.
Tod was charged with numerous offences, including sexual assault, sexual interference, possession and distribution of child pornography.
