After the horrific events of last weekend, Eugene agrees with the calls for calm and to stand united, but he does not like the idea of Edmonton becoming a sanctuary city.

John says if we stop going to major events, then the radicals have won, and he’s not ready to stay home and hide from cowards.

Ruth wants to thank Const. Mike Chernyk for being such a leader in the face of grave personal danger.

About the legalization of marijuana, Richard thinks both levels of government are just hoping the THC tax will fill their empty pockets, at the peril of distorting young people’s minds.

John wants to know if the Trudeau Liberals were truly elected to fund the UN with our tax dollars, curtail our resource industry and make paupers out of the middle class.

And, comments over MLA Karen McPherson leaving the NDP to sit as an independent are split between those who see her as a politician with a conscience and those who suspect she may be just the first to be fleeing a sinking ship.
