Plates and bowls created for children by Playtex are being recalled across Canada and the United States over reports of choking.
The white polypropylene Playtex products are printed with cartoon designs, such as cars, giraffes, princesses, and superheroes, according to Health Canada. The products were sold in sets, as well as individually.

According to the recall advisory, the graphics on the plates and bowls peel or bubble and pose a choking hazard to children. There have been four reports of choking in Canada as of September, but no children have been injured.
More than 1.9-million units were sold in Canada between January 2010 and August 2017, and another 3.6 million sold in the United States.
They have the following model numbers: 078300014409, 078300014416, 078300014423, 078300059110, 078300059134, 078300007449, 078300007456, 078300067375.

Anyone who had purchased the Playtex items should stop using them immediately, Health Canada states. They can also be returned to distributor Edgewell Personal Care Canada for a full refund.
