Battlefords RCMP have arrested an intoxicated man who was allegedly threatening to kill people.

The 50-year-old man had been at a licensed establishment in North Battleford, Sask., shortly before 6 p.m. CT on Monday.

Police said he uttered threats to kill customers and staff.

The North Battleford man was arrested after officers attended the business. No weapons were found and he was taken to a police cell.

There were no injuries.

The matter is still under investigation.
