Hamilton Police say they have dealt with a suspicious package at a Dundas elementary school.
The explosives disposal unit was called to St. Augustine Catholic Elementary School after the package was found in a bathroom late Tuesday morning.
Police say it has been determined that it was “not a threat.”

The school itself was closed due to the discovery, and parents and guardians were sent to pick up their children from St. Augustine Church.

Alma Street was closed between Sydenham Street and Parkside Avenue as police investigated.
