But this isn’t the way Crowley hoped his night would go.

“I’m a little bit disappointed, you know I really wanted to go out there and lay it all on the line,” said Crowley. “That sixth round was kind of my round where you know he’s got a little bit of energy left in the tank, let me just kind of wait him out a little and then go in for the kill.

“I was right and last end of that round backing him into that corner you know he’s bent right down, I throw a shot, and it slipped, its going like this, there was nothing I could do, I was coming for the kill, I’m just a little bit disappointed that I wasn’t able to just lay it on the line for everybody.”

While Crowley wished his opponent could have kept fighting he said he is grateful to be home.

“At the same time, how can I be disappointed at a crowd like this, the energy like this, at the end of the day I cant wait to come back to do it again. The support that I’ve had in this community is unbelievable.”
