Moose Jaw police have taken a man into custody after he was threatening to harm himself in the industrial area of Moose Jaw Friday morning.
Police received a call about a suicidal man with a shotgun in the area of Highland Road and Highway 1.

Police made contact with the man who said he was armed with a shotgun, then he fired the shotgun – nobody was harmed.
Police evacuated the area and continued to negotiate with the man. The man surrendered and was taken into custody by police at around 8 a.m.
Charges are pending against the man.
