Hamilton’s Gallery of Distinction has announced its 2017 inductees.
They are Ed Cummings, the longtime chief organizer of Hamilton’s Santa Claus Parade; Dundurn Castle curator Gwen Metcalfe; Frank Raso, one of the founders of Festitalia; Volunteers and philanthropists Tom and Sasha Weisz; Vitek Wincza, who created the Canadian Ballet Youth Ensemble; and Scleroderma Society president Maureen Worron-Sauvé.

They will be inducted at the 34th annual gala dinner Nov. 14 at Michelangelo’s.
Previous inductees include Lincoln Alexander, Sheila Copps, Martin Short, Ron Foxcroft, Harry Howell, Ron Joyce, Pat Quinn and Daniel Lanois.
