Investigators said a man walked into a TD Canada Trust in the 5000 block of Dalhousie Drive N.W., just after 5 p.m. on Monday, and handed the teller a note that said she was being robbed and that “he was armed with a firearm.”

“The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and fled the bank,” police said in a media release.

Police said the man is 26 to 30 years old, 5’9” tall and 200 pounds, with a medium build. He was wearing a blue baseball cap, polarized sunglasses on the top of his head and a dark brown leather hooded jacket, blue jeans, a burgundy “Hollister” shirt and black leather shoes.

Anyone with information on the man’s whereabouts is asked to call the Calgary Police Service’s non-emergency line at (404) 428-8787 or contact Crime Stoppers.
