Fire crews responded to a grass fire in West Kelowna Thursday evening.
The call came in shortly before 6:00 p.m.
A fire was burning near homes on Pleasantview Road in the Glenrosa area.
Residents were trying to put out the fire with garden hoses when crews arrived.
The fire was burning in a greenbelt behind several homes.

Firefighters were able to put out the fire quickly, and built a hand guard around the perimeter.
The fire has been determined to be human caused and it is suspicious.
West Kelowna RCMP are investigating.
