Spicer admitted that he had an alert on his phone for every time Trump tweeted. It turns out, as many people thought, that Trump didn’t seek his press secretary’s approval before tweeting.

When Kimmel asks Spicer if he ever received notification a tweet was coming, he replied “maybe once or twice.”

Spicer also addressed Melissa McCarthy’s infamous Saturday Night Live impersonation of him, saying it was “kind of funny.”
