Hamilton police are investigating after a replica handgun was located in a garbage dumpster on the property of St. John The Baptist Elementary School at 115 London St. S.
Police received the call just after 9:00 a.m. and seized the gun.

During the course of the investigation, the school was placed in a hold and secure.
