Jane and Joseph Jardine of Bridgenorth, Ont., are a step closer to being big winners after they bought a winning Lottario ticket last month.

The ticket was purchased at Causeway Variety on Robinson Road in Ennismore for the Aug. 12 draw.

Jane Jardine’s sisters are employees at an OLG affiliate store, so the prize falls within the OLG’s definition of an insider win, subject to several verifications and a 30-day waiting period during which the OLG publicizes the pending win.

As long as no one else cashes in on the Aug. 12 draw, the Jardines will receive $708,538.80 on Oct. 12, 2017.
