Damage is estimated at $300,000 after a fire at a home that was up for sale in the Stonebridge neighbourhood.

The Saskatoon Fire Department received word of the fire at 722 Stonebridge Common just after 9:15 p.m. CT.

Crews arrived to find the two-storey house that was staged for sale fully involved with flame.

A defensive fire attack mode was started and firefighters brought the blaze under control in just under 45 minutes.

An adjacent home that was also for sale and a third home sustained minor damage, mainly to the vinyl siding.

A fire investigator has determined the fire started in the attic but the cause has not been determined.
