Halton Regional Police are investigating a stabbing in downtown Burlington.
Officers were called to the intersection of Maria and Elizabeth Streets shortly after 2:00 a.m. Sunday where they found a 23-year old man with a cut to his left bicep.
The Burlington man went to Joseph Brant Hospital where he received 10 stitches to close the wound.

Police say the victim and his girlfriend were walking home from a downtown bar when they came across a group of three or four men and women.
One of the men allegedly insulted the victim which ignited a fight.
Police say during the altercation, the victim was stabbed by one of the men who had what was described as a black handled knife.

The male suspects are described as white and in their 20s, while the female is white with long dark hair, thin build and a half or full sleeve tattoo.
