A man is recovering in a Saskatoon hospital after a stabbing in the Meadowgreen neighbourhood.
Saskatoon police were called to a home in the 100-block of Shaftsbury Place early Monday morning for a report of a man banging on a window and asking for help.

Residents in the home told police they did not know the man.
Officers arrived to find a man with a stab wound to his chest.
The 43-year-old man was rushed to hospital and underwent surgery. Police said he is in serious but stable condition.

No arrests have been made and police continue to investigate.
