It was cut down day across the National Football League and former Manitoba Bisons offensive lineman Geoff Gray was among the final cuts of the Green Bay Packers. All NFL teams had to get down to a 53-man roster by 3:00 pm on Saturday.
Gray, 22, signed with the Packers as an undrafted priority free agent back in April. Despite being released, the six foot five, 315 pound Gray could still land a spot on the Packers practice squad.

The Blue Bombers selected the Winnipeg product in the first round, eighth overall in the 2017 CFL Draft, but Gray will probably weigh all of his options in the NFL before heading back north of the border.
Gray didn’t miss a game in his four seasons with the Bisons from 2013 to 2016.
