There has been a double homicide in Langley Friday morning.
Langley RCMP confirm they were called to 62A Crescent and 64 Avenue just after 5:30 a.m.

When they arrived they found an adult man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds. Their vehicle had ended up off the road.
Both were rushed to hospital by paramedics but passed away from their injuries.
At this time, police do believe the shooting was targeted.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) were called in and have now taken over the case.
Nearby, at 232 Street and 64 Avenue, there is a second crime scene.
The area remains blocked off and a red Jeep could be seen with both the driver’s door and passenger door wide open and yellow crime scene tape around it.
It is believed this could be a suspect vehicle but that has not been confirmed.

It is unclear how the two locations are related and the area will remain closed to traffic for a significant amount of time.
Police have not said if they’ve made any arrests or have any suspects but their expanding perimeter of the crime scene area suggests they may still be looking for someone.
This follows a fatal shooting in Abbotsford Thursday night at Gladwin and Huntingdon Roads.
Responding to the latest wave of violence, NDP Public Safety Minister Mike Farnworth said the province is looking at solutions.
“It’s going to take a lot of work. A lot of resources. A lot of time. It’s not something that’s going to happen overnight and in the meantime, we’re dealing with this gang violence. And I think people right now would like us to deal with the gang violence.”
Farnworth added that his ministry is working on a blueprint to cut down wait times for criminal trials.
“Once somebody’s caught and charged, then we want to see them convicted and we want to see them then go behind bars and not just out on the street because of a technicality or because there haven’t been enough sheriffs.”
