RCMP are asking for the public’s help in solving the theft of a chainsaw taken from a pickup truck in the Inverness County area.

Police say between Saturday and Monday, the chainsaw was taken from the back of a truck parked at a residence on Highway 105.

The orange and white chainsaw is described as being a 2008 STIHL model MS-260 with the serial number 276091761 and cost of $699.
