Because of progress being made on the Philpott Road wildfire, Central Okanagan Regional District Emergency Operations is allowing a further 120 evacuees from 52 Joe Rich properties to go home.

Some residents living along Sun Valley Road, Peregrine Road and one property on Goudie Road will remain on evacuation alert.
Properties now on evacuation alert include:
- 6785 Goudie Road
- 8315 – 8751 Peregrine Road
- 6738 – 8011 Sun Valley Road
Returning residents are asked to stay clear of emergency vehicles and crews.
Household pets can be brought onto the properties, but larger animals like horses or livestock are not allowed back at this time, due to the changing nature of the fire.

The evacuation order remains in place for 160 properties affecting 380 residents.
