Two Nova Scotians are facing drug trafficking charges after police stopped their vehicle on Highway 105 on Thursday.
Police say they stopped the vehicle in Port Hastings at 5 p.m. on Aug. 24. As a result, 38-year-old Martin Julian from Paq’tnek First Nation and 30-year-old Ivan Isadore from Waycobah First Nation were arrested.

A quantity of marijuana was seized.
Julian was held for court due to being on probation at the time of offence. He was later released on an undertaking.

Both men are facing charges of possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.
They are scheduled to appear in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court on Sept. 25.
